Myers was acquired for one reason - to get Ortiz out. First at bat, Ortiz homers. I hate the Sox but damn that Ortiz. I had him on my fantasy team in 2002 and he hit 20 homers. That was before he bacame the anti-Ruth.

Aaron Small was called up becuase the Yankee rotation was in shambles. One win turned into two, then three, four, etc. Once the league saw him though he was pretty much spent. Once you go 10-0 major league hitters start taking you seriously and doing their homework, especially if your on the Yankees. I would say average AAA pitching (below avg talent but plenty more experience/knowledge than the typical young wild cannon in AAA). The Yanks simply had to stick w/ him this year given his unlikely horoics last year but I would say he'll be lucky to get 2 more seasons in the bigs w/ some team. From his perspective, his career has been a resounding success. Without him there is no way the Yanks make the playoffs last year. That's probably more than he ever thought he'd get, and certainly more than any half-decent scout would have predicted.

How can you import Rolen/Cubby Roster into the v3.01 universe created by Matter2003?

I look forward to running the current MLB rosters in a complete universe. Does anyone have info on how to import rosters from one quickstart into another?

And they bitch about the heat which is only getting to about 105. I'm gonna go out and give them a piece of my mind, the freakin slackers.

I was going to move into a new house on your road, but I guess I'll wait until they've finished. Is there any kind of ETA for that?

Yeah, and even though they've done volunteer work in the past, cleaning up the garbage on other roads, I don't think they know what they are doing. I mean, these church ladies are putting the garbage in bags. I would have used cardboard boxes. Duh!

Plus it's not like I am fueding with these guys.... Hell Erich is allowing me to use this set as a base for my work. and we get along good now. so better luck next time
