New Schedule Problem

Ok, I was testing a league. The first 2 years were fine, then the third year the league jumped from an 162 game schedule to a 184 game schedule.

I suggest someone look at this one right away.

I never changed any of the schedules, just looked at to make certain it had an 81 home/81 away game split.

Also it be nice if you could also fix the team by team schedule to be more balanced. But for now fix the too many games problem first.

Can you confirm whether this is just something shown on the schedule evaluation report or whether when the season is played all teams actually play 184 games instead of 162?

Good news, this seems more of an evaluaton problem then an actual gameplay problem, still what is causing the evaluation to add 20+ games?

By the way the next year the evaluation was normal

It seems the report function is a bit twitchy. As long as the actual schedule during the season is correct, that's the main thing.

I logged this issue as TT # 1762, specifically referring to the behavior of the schedule evaluation report.

If anyone can manage to replicate this, it would probably be helpful to narrow down the scenarios under which this happens. DerekT, if you could provide info about the league setup, that would help.

Thanks...

Sorry, been trying to keep up with everything (just noticed this when I'm going through my posts for the month)

I have a 2 league 3 division format (4-5-5 teams in both leagues)

I'm moving this to the "Claimed Fixed" forum for now, but I'm still not 100% confident about this, because the problem itself was never terribly well-designed. If you can provide some kind of specific, replicable example, I'd be happy to test this out again!
