dola,
Two things I really would like to re-add: - Pinch hitting depth charts (preferably with a "do not use before inning X" toggle, or, even better, different situations like "leading off", "runners on base", "need a hit", etc.) - Defensive substitutions (because I don't trust that the AI will make the right decisions here, especially in deadball era leagues) |

*The AI evaluating players and stats as well as ratings (i.e. no Pitchers being sent down in September with a 17-2 record).
*The ability to actually manage out games in Multiplayer mode and Upload the results to the commish (I really really miss this). *The Trade Block |

What really sucks is being in a minority of people who don't want to see the stars or trading features from last game in here, but something I miss... hm... I'd hafta say the comments about the things that made the game "more human" were really good. I think the game is missing a lot of that. It's getting to be too much a simulator and not enough a game. Also I liked the weather from the past as it did affect things, even if it was a very minor effect.
I like the minor league report idea, also a lot to do with the humanizing factor. Other than that I miss nothing and am just waiting for AI to catch up, unless ya wanted the throw in the ability to creating international leagues? I'd trade all sorts of family members and as-of-yet unborn children to watch the US and, hell, anyone play a game of baseball. |

Gotta throw my immense appreciation that Markus is even willing to ask for our input on the patch. Customer service at its finest, if you ask me. As for my wishes:
1. Minor League Report (how a guy is doing at a certain level) 2. Trading Block 3. Set Depth Chart from This Lineup Keep up the good work, M & M. |

Also, the ability to offer a player for trade to a specific team to see what they will offer, a la EHM. At least like in 6.5, where as soon as you selected a player, the AI made suggestions on which players of theirs/yours would be acceptable in a deal.

I miss being able to edit my players nicknames, without having to go into commish mode. I always call my players some nickname that's similar to their real name (Pelfrey= "Pelf", Ferraro= "Ferrari"), it'd be nice to still be able to do that.

Am I the only one who would like to be able to warm up his pitchers?

(j/k)The things that I did like in 6.5 and would like to see brought back are: 1. Generate Depth Charts based on lineup 2. Shop Players 3. Trading Block 4. E-mail for player ready to come off DL, retirement, playing time 5. AI using stats and ratings 6. Human Manager for all teams 7. Scouting reports with words Thanks.

I miss being able to turn off batting ratings, but still see things like speed and endurance. I was really disappointed to see that turning off ratings turns off ALL the ratings...

Just in case this was missed so far, how about specifically setting late-game defensive substitutions?

1) Trade Block
2) Shop Player 3) Keep the scrollbars where they are at when you make a transaction in the transaction screen 4) Minor League Reports 5) E-mail for Disabled Lists 6) Rumors of other teams bidding for FA's, would be cool to know if other teams are bidding on someone or if I am overpaying 7) Stars! 8) Roster Sizes of Minor League Teams on Transaction Screen!!!!
