Trading block. I find the current trade interface so cumbersome that I don't initiate trades.

I think it would be nice to have the ability to ask your scouts take a look at other teams in the league to develope some indication of strengths and weaknesses of each. This info could be used to help determine what teams might be more open to a trade offer involving certain players. This would prevent having to offer a trade to every team in order to see any interest they may have. It would be nice to know that so and so team "might" be looking for help in the out field, etc.

Being able to view the other teams lineup when forced to insert a pitcher after the previous pitcher was pinch-hit for.

Yes. That bothers me too. I try to remember to look before the inning ends, but I often forget.

From an online league perspective, I agree. I hate the current way and really miss the old way of doing it right on the team setup page. Please do something about this Markus, if not now, for future versions.

I forgot to mention the trading blosk and in season FA signings. 6.51 was markedly superior. Players who are free agents in season obviously dont need days to consider offers. Its also annoying when trying to find a replacement for an injured player.

I'm with this, too. And the ability to have teams go with the obp or speed for the lead off hitter.

For me, it's the ability to set the roster below 20. For those of us simming the 19th century, where rosters were only 12 or 14 players, this would be nice. Aso, though not in 6.5, the ability to set a 1-man and 2-man rotation would be helpful for 19th century simming...

- Email when players aren't injured anymore

- Tweak development, high round picks often play like high round picks, same with low round picks

- Expansion

- Stars

- Trade Block, shop player

- Better trade screen, team weaknesses

- FA log, keeping track of who your signing is a must

- Backup/Restore

Marc said he thinks you already coded this for patch 2, but:
1. Human manager for all teams (God mode)
2. Notification when a player is injured.

I really miss the personality from previous versions.
To point:
1. Having a paragraph on the player page describing the player as a whole, and scouts feelings, not just numbers.
2. The Star system to quickly see better players
3. The trading block obviously
4. More emails from players coaches owners etc.
5 I actually enjoyed the being able to draft my son in the prospect drafts, then cut the little Sh*T for asking for too much money in his walk year
6 More play by play text during games
Just add the human aspects back to the game, it's more fun then just crunching a bunch of numbers.
And ideas for patch #10... add functions from your In the park game.

It would also be nice to see league leaders/career milestones mentioned in the PBP, which I believe was done in the last version.

Markus, any chance you'll pop in and tell us what from these ideas you'd be willing to try and get in? and what might be easy enough for the next patch and what might be longer to bring into the new game?

This is old-fashioned, but I miss the red and green arrows for the minor league players. The head scout already tells you in e-mail when a minor league prospect is evolving or devolving, yet he can't add a little red or green tick mark by the player's name in the roster screen.

I'm all for stuff that reduces the amount of menu accessing and mouse clicking to do basic baseball chores.

Other than that, a lot of my other trading block concerns have already trading block been addressed trading block in this grea thread trading block, so I won't trading block bear to repeat them trading block here trading block.

I know the stats are compiled, but there is not one simple place to see how a player is hitting vs. other teams. It's there on a pitcher level, but not on a team level (like it was at the bottom of the Game-By-Game screen in OOTP6-6.5). Maybe also add it to the HTML report?

Also, I have been playing a lot of EHM (I love that game) and the rumors of trades happening would be something that would really enhance OOTP.
