NBA Off Season Thread

With the Draft coming up theirs going to be lots of Trades happening because teams like Orlando,Phoenix and others wants to move up,teams like Portland,Atlanta and others want to move down.
Toronto might want to trade the 1st pick to a team that has 2 picks in the first round.
Players like Odom,Dolling,Deimer,Vasquez and otehrs could be include in a Draft Trade.

This is a diluted draft class, and Toronto will more than likely be stuck making the 1st pick. I would imagine no teams really want to trade up in this draft, as there are no players who make you think your franchise could be saved with.

The only guy is Brandon Roy, who can do everything really well except shoot from long range. It seems like a lot of teams want to move up to get him, but I'm really hoping the Bulls take him with the #2 pick.

I don't see Morrison or Thomas as top guys in the NBA. Rudy Gay has the talent but doesn't seem to be interested in playing basketball 82 times a season (kinda reminds me of Vince Carter in some respects).

I think the NBA should reduce their playoffs from 16 teams to 8, or at the most 12.

there have been rumblings of packaging the 2nd pick and Tyson Chandler and sending it to Phoenix for Shawn Marion. what do you think of that, if it were to happen?

The Magic want to move up to try and get Ruby or Roy buy offering Dolling,Deimer,Vasquez and others. The Hawks want to move down.
Their are going to some Draft Day trades because theirs always some on Draft Day.

If Rudy Gay would grow a pair of testicles he could be all-world.

Roy to the Bulls? How many off-guards do they need???

Take Aldridge for crying out loud.

Shwan Marion and 27th pick and maybe L.B. to Sonics for Lewis,Fortson and 10th pick might happen. Suns still will have 2 picks in the first round and also get under the Salary Cap but probley won't make it to the Playoffs next year. This would make the Sonics tide contenders next years.

According to draftexpress the rockets and the hawks have a draft day deal in place that would send Brandon Roy to the Rockets for Luther Head and Sheldon Williams. (if both teams actually come out with those two players)
