LBA Opening at Dark Cove

The Dark Cove Bounty Hunters need a GM. The team has great history. They were one of the early dominant teams in the league. After a long drought they returned to prominence in 1913. And, in the last seven seasons they have made the playoffs five times, they’ve won the championship once. And this past season they came up short, losing in the league championship series. You can read about the series here. As constructed, the team should have one or two good runs left in them. So a perspective owner would probably want to approach this team with an eye to the future.

The Laseron Baseball Assoiciation has two leagues of two divisions each with five teams, for a total of 20 teams. It is set in the fictional world of Laseron.

- The league has been in existence since June, 2002.
- We are about to start our 21st season. We will be starting our off season procedures soon.
- We are using v6.51.
- Our entire history is stored on Catobase.
- We sim one week on Mondays and Wednesdays. And we sim two weeks on Saturday.
- The top two teams in each division makes the playoffs.
- There is an $85 million salary cap and a $15 million team cash maximum.
- We hold a Rule V draft.

We have several active owners who help make the website look good and write articles. And you'd be encouraged to add whatever you can. But the only activity that is required is that you try to make the team a winner and you answer email involving trades. After that, the amount of participation is up to you. Great league, great concept, great GMs... You won't regret joining! I'd say over half of the GMs who leave for real life issues end up coming back eventually when those issues clear up. That in itself is testimony to the quality of the league.
