Announcing player substitutions
I did some searching assuming someone had mentioned this over here in Tech Support yet - but no one has.
So far I've only made it into spring training, and I've noticed that relief pitchers and pinch hitters aren't being announced at all in the Play-by-Play. Is that only in spring training games or does it happen everywhere? That seems like a fairly easy fix and I'm not sure how something like that gets missed. Hopefully that can make it into the next patch. |

It was just my state of mind when I posted last.
I would love to see this feature re-implemented, but there are more pressing issues that are being dealt with for the next patch, and this is low on the priority scale I'm sure. |

I mentioned this previously also, going so far as to suggest that the substitution announcement require a key-press or click to continiue.
As far as having to pay too great an amount of attention - It would be a lot easier to pay attention if we weren't bombarded with fake commercials during every game. People who play out the games, as I do, devote hundreds of hours to the games. They should not have to be subjected to phoney advertisements about post-game shows which do not exist. It seems to me, if you're going to interrupt a game to advertise a post-game show - you bloody-well better have one. Studies show that the average American is exposed to over 700 ads or commercials every day. On of the reasons we play computer games is to get a break from the commercial world. Please give us a break and delete all of the irritating commercials. |
