I love how the announcers assume we can't grasp the idea of cards and suspensions.

The american sport public understands things like balks, the tuck rule, the option offense. They can figure out cards.

It's probably because cards and suspensions are an alien concept to all the other American sports. As an outsider, I don't see any problem with it, if it helps the casual viewer who just switched it on to understand what's going on, and doesn't know much about soccer.

Mexico looked much more organized the end of that half. HOpefully they can continue their play of the last 10 minutes, and their first 30 doesn't come back to bite them.

And hopefully angola doesn't score at all. Or Iran goes up 3-0 on them.

oh I usually hate the NBA...but Im a Heat fan...Ill watch the playoffs and some games during the regular season, but thats about it.
