MI Weekly

I have intentions to turn The Maelstrom Illustrated into a Maelstrom Weekly in which an issue is released after each sim before the next one is run, which would be three per week. In these issues the standard feature will be an overview type report for each team, how they performed over the previous week and other things. In addition are any other articles, interviews, etc that owners submit or I write myself. I made a few minor adjustments on the magazine and how it looks as well. Anyway, here is the first issue of Maesltrom Illustrated Weekly and the standard address http://www.baseballmaelstrom.com/illustrated/mi

After reading the current issue, one recommendation I would give is to bad mouth the Oakland A's a bit more. They look like a team that needs a little, unfriendly vocabular "push".

Seriously though, I liked the updates for every team. It gives the reader a better idea of how the team fared and why they did bad or good that week as opposed to looking at "Games Behind" or "Last 10", which don't tell you why a team is performing the way they are.

Our June 26th-July 2nd issue is now out. We have a new game for our league which is located on page 7 of the magazine. The game is titled Where and When in Baseball is Shane Orr (The league's co-commissioner).

The rules are listed on the page and everyone here is free to play whether or not your in the league. The winner will get to choose the colors for the next issue of the MI Weekly if they want. Of course I must list a clause that I do have the right to not accept your colors. My only guideline is that is that they are not exactly the same as a previous issue and are readable.

Lets see who can be the first to answer correctly!

LIVN did in fact get the correct answer, but feel free to keep on guessing just to see if you can figure it out. This feature will be in every issue of MI, so feel free to try again nect time.

The colors for a soon to be released issue will be Raiders Silver and Black, LivnLegends request

A new issue of MI has hit the news stands, be sure to compete in this issue's Where in Baseball is Shane Orr.

I added each team's record to their team report per a suggestion from an owner.
