Picks are tradeable now, but the ability to trade future picksis not. Can this be added?

Is it possible to trade picks in MLB at all? And is it possible in MLB to trade future picks?

It seems to me, since it defaults to not allowing trading picks that maybe it's not an option in MLB.

That would also make sense somewhat. Since if you make a trade in July and give them your first two picks in next years draft.... then go to the offseason and sign free agents enough that you lose those 2 picks to other teams, then the computer (or even, for online, a person) made a trade that it gets nothing for.
