Unlicensing 6.5 for transfer
Pretty cut and dry: I recently purchased a laptop and would like to put OOTP 6.5 on it, with the original copy being on my desktop. I would like to unlicense the version on my desktop to transfer it over, the only problem being that my monitor for my desktop has recently ruined itself, and so I have no way to get to the unlicense feature visibly.
My question is this: Is there a way I can unlicense my game without the physical ability to do so on my desktop? I have no intention of buying a new monitor for it, as I plan to sell it after I get my important files off of it, so any advice that you can provide as to getting OOTP safely over to my laptop would be appreciated. |

Multiple License
You actually have 2 license, so you can go ahead and put one on your laptop without removing it from the desktop.
Otherwise you can contact e-license http://www.elicense.com and they can reset it for you. |

Ah, very good. How do I know the license code though, exactly? I would still need to be able to get on my desktop to write it down, wouldn't I?

You will need the order ID to install on the laptop anyway??
Anyway, I would just e-mail their tech support and they will be able to exactly tell you what you need. Quote:

You have apparently misunderstood the root of my issue. If I had the Order ID written down, I wouldn't be asking questions. Thanks for the attempt at assistance though, much appreciated all the same.

can you just network your laptop and desktop and pull the files that way?
