RMY 1871 Quickstart v2

RMY 1871 Quickstart v2

An improved (hopefully) 1871 Quickstart:

- Game starts on 1st March 1871, with rookies ready to draft.
- Following draft, change draft date to 31st December 1871 to correctly import rookies for future seasons.
- Incorporates my injuries.txt file, which should generate more DTD and short/medium term injuries, with less CEIs.
- Incorporates a 56 game schedule with 2 games per week, allowing a single SP to start every game.
- Uses Arod/Garlon DB 1871 rookies.

The league is setup as AL and NL, 4 teams each. These are historical teams which played in the period 1871-1875, though not necessarily all in 1871. The setup allows 'interleague' games, to overcome the fact that there was only one league, and to allow each team to play every other.

The schedule is roughly historical in the number of games played in the period, with 2 games per week (1st April to 14th October) to enable a single SP to start every game, with 3 man rotations set to 'start highest rested'. It has a gap should you wish to schedule an All-Star game (off in the QS) around 10th/11th July.

The injuries file is created with an Excel tool, designed to weight DTD and short/medium term injuries (by repeating them in the file), allowing a higher in-game injury frequency setting without too many CEIs. In this quickstart, injuries are set to 'low' to avoid too many in the first couple of years with small (real player) rosters.

Points to remember:

- After the 1st March draft, set draft date to 31st December 1871 at least before the end of November.
- Initial roster size set to 21 players: increase over the first few years (or immediately, if you don't mind too many fictionals being on the roster).
- Increase injuries and fatigue from low to normal after a few years, if you desire.
- 56 game schedule should be increased/replaced after a few seasons.
- Delete/replace/rename teams from at least 1876 for historical changes. Most of the initial teams exist only for a few years. Deleting/adding is more accurate for the history than renaming (teams.csv in your Lahman or Arod/Garlon or Ankit DB folder shows historical changes, and games played for scheduling help).
