You can download a demo of EA's NFL Head Coach at this site:

It's about 300mb but is worth doing if you've got broadband.

no, it's single player and it seems really clunky to me. i don't like the UI at all, it's definitely intended for console. i'm not too impressed, we'll see how the actual gameplay is because the demo barely scratches the surface.

I really hope the full PC version isn't a direct port from the console version. Knowing EA though it will be. Which sucks because direct ports are more often than not, crap.

Prepare for a direct port. The only EA game I know they don't is Tiger Woods

can someone that has installed the demo offer some help??

I just downloaded the demo and when I try and start it, I get an error...

"This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found"

Sounds like you need the latest version of Direct X. I would say 3d drivers for your version of Direct X aren't compatible.

I got the same error downloaded the new version of Direct X and it worked great.

Truthfully, I was very unimpressed with the demo.

Same here. I've given it only 20 minutes or so, however.

It seemed like the concept really could work - a graphical management sim. I still say I love the idea (and will probably rent the console version), but I'm not too confident about this game.
