Hello I have been a past member of this fine message board. First off I just want to say thanks for the 1901 quickstart. I love it!! However I am in 2016 and would like to expand my minor leagues to a Double A team for each club. Cause I roughly have about 54-57 players for every team, so some of the players are not getting the playing time needed to develope. How can I expand in the off-season? I read the Manual. Please help!!1

I am at work right now and do not have the game open but if memory serves me correctly.....

Unfortunately you can not add another subleague (AA) to your existing league but I would think you could expand your AAA league to add one more affiliate for each team. Expansion can be done at the point around the end of January - I think it is called preseason starts or something to that effect. You can edit the league structure of AAA to add more teams but you may have to transfer players to them manually in the initial setup (I am not sure of this). Also don't forget to generate a new AAA sked if you expand.

Thanks for the reply. But I am very upset. I wanted to have History in my league and generate files going all the way to the present time. So, If I want to have a Historic League I need to add all the minors , then start in 1901 and work my way until 2006?? Since I am in 1916. I just wasted a lot of time. For one all-minors are not needed until later in the History of MLB. I am very Disappointed. Thanks for the info!!!!
