Crash during Spring Training

I seem to be suddenly crashing to the desktop at random points during simulation of Spring Training games.

Patch is installed, I am in my third season and have not had any crashes until now. Spring seems to run fine in other test leagues. Odd is that the crash happens at random times - for a while I couldn't get past March 10th. I simmed to the 9th and saved. Next time I got past there but now I can't get past the 13th or 14th.

Only mucking I did was shutting down the game to try to replace the logos, but I backed those up and replaced them with the originals once I experienced the crash. The other thing I fooled with was the international leagues' financials, as I was a bit irritated with winter leagues signing legitimate MLBers to fat deals. I dropped some of their media contract moneys down, for the winter leagues I reduced the average salary levels.

I get the standard windows "This program has encountered a problem and must close" message and it asks me if I want to report the problem.

Any help in recovering this league's playability would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Can you upload a zip file of your crashable save game please to our public FTP.

Please put in the OOTP/game-crash folder and include a text file in the zip detailing the location of this thread and a description of your problem, plus ways we can reproduce it in your save file.

Thanks for your reply. I have the zipfile but I was unable to connect to your server. I got timeout errors such as:

Just to clarify, you need the entire save-game folder and all its contents in the zip?

I was finally able to get into the server and posted my savegame zip. Hopefully there is a fix.

after the patch. Going into the 5th season I believe and when heading toward the regular season the AI can't seem to resolve putting everyone back on the right minor league team (human or computer managed team).

I've had this issue at some point with nearly every league I've started. I've FTP'd the file if it will help.

Some time has passed since you posted this issue, and the 1.0.2 patch has since been released as well. Are you still seeing this issue?
