Love the game, first time buyer.

1) I created a league, I just used the MLB format that it gave, why does the rule 5 draft only happen the first year then not again?

2) How do I scout the Free Agent's? A lot of good players I cant sign because I dont have them scouted.

1. Never seen that happen - but remember that you can only draft Rule 5 players if you have a spot open on your 40 man roster. Maybe it skips your team in the draft if your 40 man is full?

2. The day the FA class is announced (May 1 I think - it's one of the dates in the baseball pull down menu), you should send a scout to scout the field. I am pretty sure you do this by simming until the class is announced (let's say May 1), then choosing the "Transactions" item from the league drop down menu (the one to the right of "Manager" - it will be named whatever acronym your league is named, for instance "MLB") - at this point I *think* there is an additional tab on the very left called "Draft Pool" - pick that tab. Now on the bottom, you can choose to scout the pool.

Actually, as important as this is, I don't understand why the game doesn't FORCE you to send a scout (or say "no, I don't want to scout it") to the player draft pool.
