Yes I was talking about PECOTA -- sorry for the delay guys. With the new patch we had to get some things fixed with the file to make it work with it.
Back to work. I'll try to get an ETA tonight when I know more. |

I'm just curious how you plan to rate players like Alex Rios?
On one hand... before this year, he really sucked. He's only been good for 2.5 months. On the other, he always was supposed to have tremendous potential and was listed among the top prospects in baseball, and throughout this year hasn't slowed down. Seems to make for a tough call. |

In addition, using scouting reports so all MLB (and a lot of AAA) players should have their correct pitches, speeds, G/F ratios, etc. I'd like to eventually get everyone right on pitches and pitch speeds, but will need ya'lls help with some of the minor leaguers that I don't know or can't find info on. I may sound like a whiny kid, but how much longer?! I have had the game since the day it was released and after three hours of trying to dig in with the "no-name" rosters, I finally had to give up. There is so much going on that if you don't have some reference as to who the heck anyone is it is impossible for me to gain any enjoyment from it. I just want to play the game! Please.

What I've always wondered is how everyone waits for MLB rosters...and then after about 25-30 years progress in their games...everyone ends up being fictional anyways :P
BTW Cubby, can't wait for those rosters...I have 30 GM's begging me to start :P

Because it's impossible to get worked up about fictional players to start. Besides, by the time that everybody is fake, you know who they are so to speak.

He has made an adjustment in his batting stance as well, he used to have some movement now he is really silent at the plate. All in all, last year I thought he would be a bust but watching him play some this year he has the confidence and the tools be a great 5 tool guy. Not to mention one of the best arms in the league. |

OK, I know you are a Cubs fan but does NOT mean you can make Pujols' injury rating really low!!?!? Just kidding. Looking forward to the set, no rush though, I can't imagine how much time and effort it takes!

![]() (his injury rating will probably be VERY low, considering I think the oblique is a freak injury and he's played what, 5 years without any real problems?) Now Kerry Wood on the other hand... its too bad that 200 is the maximum rating allowed.

Prospects
Regardless of what game it is, I always edit the prospect ratings from Roster Sets. I don't think it is possible to give accurate ratings for every prospect in baseball in under a month and therefore I don't expect to see that in the first version of your set.
It took me forever to get halfway done in 6.5, so I can safely assume it will be months to get there with this version. Not sure of your minor league knowledge, but I hope you can at least get close to the actual talent and potential for these guys. Thanks for the foundation of the roster set though, since that is the most important part. Are you guys using actual SS/Rookie rosters or just using fictional players? Also, are you listing prospects in their opening day minor league levels or current levels? |

Agreed. It takes literally 4-6 months for me to even play a season.
