unable to load historical leagues?

I downloaded the Lahman 5.3 database, but when I go to load it for an historical league, I always get an error message that the historical league failed to load. Has anybody had problems with this? Anybody know how to solve this? Really want to get started on a 1986 simulation. Thanks!

Don't have the database on your "desktop", but on your HD.
Make sure it is the "comma delimited" version.

I have the comma del. version of Lahman 5.3 on my hard drive, and I follow all the steps, but still get the error message that the import failed...

An obscure reason for failure I discovered yesterday - don't have any of the csv files open for viewing. It prevents the game opening them.

Any of the files in the Lahman folder.

Are you selecting the "master.csv" file out of the folder? Gotta be something you aren't doing as I've created 20 of these atleast w/ this version of the game and db.

Yes, I'm selecting the file named "lahman53.mdb."

Is this the folder name? The actual file should be "master.csv".
