Both teams are still available.
The El Paso Desert Foxes are 14-5 after 3 sims, they should be competetive in a very tough division. The Washington Federals are also 14-5 and are the early favorites in a mediocre division. Thx, Manny (The Cal Ripken of Commishes) |

Take it from the Barry Bonds of Owners (my teams have always been pretty good, then suddenly got really good, although they never won the big one, and now are not so good. Plus he and i have the same hairline and middle name.) this league is fun, it has a good pace and it is competitive.
And both Washington and El Paso have an ace in their rotation, a shut down closer and a very good offense. Now they just need you! |

The Washington Federals are still available and off to a good start at 34-30. They are arguably the best franchise in PABF's 16 year history with 5 World Series Championships and 10 division titles.
The El Paso Desert Foxes are also still available.... in 2nd place at 34-29. This team is financially sound with the 8th rated minor league system. |

Washington and El Paso still need owners. The PABF is just coming off our all star break and the trading deadline is approaching. Washington is a team with a long running winning tradition. (Check out their history here.) The team is currently in first place, and they are built to make a good playoff run. Jeff Messina [.370, 14, 47], Colin Jorgenson [.304,27,71] and Terrence Carver [.372,24,72] are the three headed monster that leads the PABF's best offense. John Swofford [10-4, 3.62] and William Wenzel [2.49, 14 saves] anchor the pitching staff. And the team will get a boost for the stretch run when Ezra Abreu [8-5, 3.81] comes off the DL. (Check out their current roster here.) El Paso just moved from Memphis and got a nice new logo. Now they need some direction. (See team history here.) This team is in a tough competitive division. But it is not without its strengths. In fact, it spent most of the first half of the season in second place. (Which is good enough to win the wild card spot in the PABF.) Their hitting and pitching are middle of the road. And they suffered a bad break when they lost their leadoff hitter. But they can still make the playoffs with someone pulling the right strings. Richard Bonilla [.273,15,46] is a blossoming superstar at first base. And, at the hot corner, Raul Cuomo [.306,11,55] is a solid veteran. The team also has an ace, Matthew Snead [11-7, 2.49] and a dependable closer, Thomas Dixon [3.73, 17 saves]. See El Paso's entire roster here. Its minor league system doesn't have a blue chip prospect in it. But it does have depth. And it's actually the second best farm system in its division. Either team would be great for someone looking for a challenge. Plus the league is competitive. There is a pretty good amount of trade activity. It moves pretty quickly. But it's not that hard to keep up. If intereested, click on the Contact Commish link on the left side of this page. |

We're still looking for two!!!
I'm one of the original owners in this league (I'm also in about 300 other online leagues or it seems) and this is a very solid league. We have some very good team owners, some participate in trades/forums a little more than others as usual in most leagues. If your looking for an new online league with no pressure, than this is it. As stated already, the two teams available are have some very good upside and Washington, who is in my division, has been the king of the league quite often and has a very solid team currently. Check us out if interested. |
