Being GM and manager
I find it strange that if you GM a team and want to play out every game as manager you still have an AI manager on your personnel. I tend to think of this manager as my assistant manager who I relegate to defense during games. Maybe there can be added some sort of category for managers that would only act as assistants to human managers/GM's or human players be listed as the manager (and GM) and eliminate an AI manager tying up a little $$. I know bench coaches are considered assistant managers in real life, so eliminating managers for human manager/GM's would make sense. but it just seems redundant.

I posted the same in the suggestions forum on release day. I also want to see the reverse: Let us be the manager and not the GM.

Can't you just fire/let go of the manager and not hire another? I haven't made it to the majors as a GM yet so I haven't tried it.

Is there any kind of disadvantage to not having a Manager on the staff? Are there any drawbacks?
