Player/Coach Picture Preference

I'm trying to come up with pictures for individuals on various teams, and I have a roster set that has the league set up, without the real players. I'm starting with the coaches, and I find that if I download the right picture from the web, and insert it into the game, it comes up only in the HTML report, but not in the profile. I had to figure out the number of the coach, delete the associated jpeg (player_1061.jpg) and then replace it with the downloaded photo (say, dusty_baker.jpg) and then it showed up in the profile. It seems odd to me that the game would prefer the number over the name when looking for a jpg to show in the profile.

Was this intended?
