Stars and xx/80 Ratings?

I've seen a lot of complaining about the lack of x/5 star ratings for players in the new version. Am I incorrect in thinking that the Current/Potential ratings that you get from your scouts are pretty similar to the gold/blue star ratings?

If this is the case, is there any way to view these ratings without actually opening an individual player's page? i.e. through a sortable roster view?

It seems that this would be the answer to this problem, yes?

I think you are right in assuming they are similar to the star ratings in the latest versions. Currently there isn't a way to see those outside of the individual player page unfortunately. There has been some pressure to make that possible, however, so we might see it in a patch or update.

It's been asked of Markus, and noted in our feature request system. I'm practically begging him for that very thing. We'll see what happens.
