Help?
If you are the manager of a team, in the upper right hand corner of the screen you'll see your GM name (default is Joe Unknown) and Act As: (the city name of the team).

Then you'll be able to go to the schedule screen and there you should have the option to manage your team.

If you are not a manage yet. On the manager menu select available jobs and choose the team you want.

OK. This game is seriously deep, and no way am I going to be able to play it properly until I read the mongo manual and do some serious planning.

Instead I fired up the MAL quickstart and am rolling along. I loveitloveitlove it.

Oh, and I just have one more thing to say:

"Heinsohn Draft...it's out of the park!"

Bwahahahaha.

Sorry if I missed this somewhere else, but is there a plan to put coming back from retirement into the game like v6.5?

This game is amazing, I'm starting to setup my fictional baseball history league now :-*

It's so deep, its almost intimidating, there is so much to do! So much detail! I love it, I am giddy right now, this is like the perfect game.

I'll save "perfect game" for when I actually start playing. The setup screen is nice and everything but between this and TRTR, we still don't know much about the functionality. It looks great and I'm hoping it works as well.

In the opening news article when appointed as the new GM.

1) The new hire, xxx xxx was introduced at a luncheon today.

(The new hire..could have been worded better, sounds like someone who hasn't grasped the use of the english language)

2) The 0-year old told the fans and media in attendance that he expected to earn their support.

I'm sure that should say 26 like it does in my manager profile, unless it means 0 experience as a GM in which case it should state this.

Hire is a noun. If you get a job, you're considered a new hire.

3. Informal. One who is hired: two new hires in the sales department.

Both noted. #1 is fixed already. It was grammatically correct, but still didn't sound quite right.

Any chance the city file is going to be updated to what it was supposed to include?

I have been playing OOTP since the very first day of the very first version and this is the first time that I have ever felt the need to look at the manual!

Markus-- this game has come a long way from the early days when I traded e-mails with you because my mouse's device driver crashed the game in DOS. Good job and get some rest this summer!

It has what it has. Canada in particular I am told is a miserable one.
