Importing players into a custom league...

I set up a custom league with the idea of putting the greatest players of all time in. I went through the database and picked out all the pitchers I wanted from the 1900-1910 decade and went to put them in.

They loaded in just fine (with the exception of 1904 Rube Waddell, who sent my game reeling to the desktop three times whenever I tried to load him. I guess he's out.) But their rating are junk. Cy Young 1901 has a 2 for allowing runs, etc.

Does this have something to do with their ages (I noticed he was -1 years old)? Or the league starting year... because I just went with 2002.
If anyone could give me any help, that would be great!

You need to make sure and have the latest game patch and latest version of the database. With the correct versions these problems don't appear.

I just downloaded the "new" edited database from this forum. Is that the problem?

Are you using 4.0c or STB 2K3 w/ the latest patch? You should not see an age problem with these versions that I am aware of.

All is well... I had downloaded 40c, but never installed it. Everything is working now. Thanks much! I have a lot of work to do now!
