Confirmation of Mac release date yet?

Marc, seeing as the other Mac thread turned into..I don't know what.

Is there any news on wether or not we'll be getting the game this week or not?

My current thinking is that the Mac version will actually be released on 6/7/2006 (to tie in with the section "Patches" on this thread http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...d.php?t=119573)

The reasons would be:-

- The contracts are agreed, signed but not exchanged, we will not have confirmation that they have been exchanged till later today
- We've not had sufficent time to test the Mac version "multi-season"

Once we have exchange, as a gesture of goodwill I will be looking to open up the store to allow for pre-ordering (if this is possible) and offering a discount to Mac fans (since you guys have waited so patiently for this moment).

I appreciate this is not the news many Mac fans would have liked to have heard but I'd rather be honest here with the reasoning and I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

Hmmm... discount for waiting "patiently"... but still getting the game around the same time... I do not think that could have gone better

Um, we own macs. That's really all it is. I don't care what kind of computer you have. Why do you care so much about mine? Why do you even click on mac threads?

because i think it tells you about the person who owns it. i despise mac's marketing campaign, public image, and "think different" i'm so hip attitude.

There are some things Macs are better at than PCs. There are many things PCs are better at than Macs. I would never look down on someone owning a Mac.

Either way if you want to discuss the pros and cons of Macs you should really take it to Off Topic.
