Wow, Mal, don't you even want to stick around until the game is released and see if this gets worked out? It is quite possible, with the ealry number of people who are in your favor with this issue, that this could be rectified.

If you need to go on a three day bender to relax a bit, thats alright, we still got a week before the game comes out.

Just don't jump off of the bridge yet

Why not just make these rating to be togglable to be hidden or shown? Like one can turn on/off scout/coach and choose rating scale. I thought the OOTP series is supposed to be built on the ground of flexibility, is it not? By making it toggable, people in both camps should be satisfied, right? Or am I being too naive here?

p.s. My comment is specifically for the topic, not for the fight.

Since grandstanding is no allowed...apparently...

I'm am in definately favor of Hidden ratings. I believe that OOTP is a career simulation first and then a replay sim. If we can't have a toggle i'd much prefer it the way markus has done it.
