How do you post a 600 X 600 map on this Forum?

I have created a map of my fictional baseball universe located in the countries of Ruthlandia and Tycobbia.

It is 600 x 600 and will not post on the Logos Forum...it is too large of a file.

Is it possible to put it in a form so that it will post on the forum?

I am computer-challenged, but can follow good, detailed instructions.

Would appreciate your help.

Here ya go Eugene. The problem was that it was a bmp. I put it in GIF to keep it the same size. I think the clarity is still there, even in GIF.

Just for reference for you when you want to upload something here in the future and need to get the file smaller.

for this map...

in bmp-- 1.02mb

in jpg-- 328kb

in gif-- 18.8kb

It looks good...not quite as sharp as it does in bmp...but still great.

What did you have to do to get it in this form?

Did you just convert it from bmp to gif?

I think I can do that in the Paint software.

I have changed jpg's to bmp's before.

The towns on the map are the teams in my OOTPB2006 leagues.

Each town will have it own history, culture, industry and demographics.

All this will be included on my website along with the team's stadium, logos and home/away uniforms.
