Nah, only by his previous lofty standards. He was quite decent in 2004. Fell off the map last year.

If not, shut up go home and retire. Goddamn, that's just wrong. And why is his agent doing all the talking....have some balls and speak up. Half a mil....I'd say yes in heartbeat. Hell, it's baseball. That irks me....sorry.
...Interestingly, it's a similar deal to the one that Frank signed in Oakland, after two poor seasons in 2004 and 2005. Poor in the sense that he was absent for 2/3 of each year, that is...he was plenty effective when healthy.

Well, I, for one, do hope that Sammy gets his payday, with, say the Twinkies or Yanks.

I thought that it took Jose a few years to get him interested but I never read his book so I'm not certain what Jose's story is. My only point was that power from a young age doesn't disqualify a player from steroid suspicion.

I know it's still early in the season, but I think I was right for once. As I said in February. FRANK THOMAS CAN'T EVEN DH ANYMORE.

Yes, Jay Mariotti is a weasel, but Big Frank is indeed looking smaller these days.
