The Jays are 14-7 when Towers doesn't start. I think it's obvious who the weakest link here is. Banish him to long relief and let Walker start some games. Please!

The entire Jays board on MLB.com is pretty much full of Anti-Towers threads.

Eric Hinske probably never thought someone on the Jays would be less popular than him.
Speaking of which, Eric's actually doing a good job this year with the bat (in limited playing time) and hasn't been a disaster when he plays RF. But it's good that it's starting to look like Rios will get the majority of playing time.

Maybe the reason is because Hinske's gotten limited at bats. This is the first time in his career he hasn't been an everyday player... maybe that's why he's performing well?

His homerun and double last night were the first two extra base hits he's had. |

Anyways, another nice win for Toronto tonight. Chacin didn't go very deep into the game, but he pitched more then well enough for the win. Jays pound out 17 hits, Rios has another 3-hit game, and of course, Hill goes 0-5. |

If the pitching settles... we could very well challenge for a playoff spot this year
![]() Very nice moves in the offseason... I like the looks of the team this year. We are never really out of a game. Well... Unless Towers starts... management is still going to trot him out there (according to recent interviews) so I hope he gathers his confidence back.

Jays demoted Chulk and called up Rosario.
For a while I thought it would mean that Rosario would take Towers spot in the rotation, but the Jays are still throwing Towers out there every 5th day. |

Good game for Janssen. Though Adams sucks. EVERY one of his plays he bungled in some way. Even if the play was made, it was done so with a scoop, or Hillenbrand having to leave the base and tag the runner. It was painful to watch whenever the ball came towards him... Oh, and it was photo day. Here's my friend Thomas giving the Steven Colbert "Check it out - I've got a black friend!" pose to Francisco Rosario.
