Historical Rookie Development
I've decided to play a historical history of MLB.
I'm ready to begin 1902. It seems that many of the players to be drafted this following year are already good enough to play in the majors. Will this be the norm throughout the century, and if so, is there any way to make their ratings lower so that most of them have to progress through the farm club? Thanks, Jordan |

For the early century guys no... then again you have to realize that in that era there really weren't minor leagues but rather loosly affiliated semi-pro teams.
Also, think of it as if those players are being created they should already be major league capable. (Hence their creation) In terms of shameless plugs...hehe...my DB ver 3.90 is made so that players are created their first pro-season instead of the major league debut season. However, though it has changes from 1937 on, only players from 1965 focused on. |
