How do you create rosters? Do you import the Lahman's database for 2005 and then tweak ratings and move players and add the minors?

Will you be creating a whole new roster set for OOTP Baseball Manager 2006? (Yes, I believe you said). Will it be based on opening day rosters for 2006 instead of 6/1/06 or whenever you get it released.

Hopefully you are a very accurate roster builder because I've seen some rosters where after close inspection have very inaccurate stats and ratings on some key players.

Wish I still have OOTP on my system to try out this roster but I don't so I'll wait until 2006.

Cubby is/has always been the roster king!

Now...these rosters were HANDS-DOWN the best I've ever downloaded here, but to further "re-iterate" that point, take a look at Ivan Rodriguez' stats from Wednesday April 5th this year against Kansas City, in the real MLB and in my league.

MLB...5 AB...3 R...5 H...5 RBI...0/0 BB/K...1 HR
MyL...5 AB...1 R...5 H...4 RBI...1/0 BB/K...1 HR

Granted...on Wednesday, his performance was with Joe Mays starting and my league was against Jeremy Affeldt, but still...are these ratings and stat settings not close to the most accurate ever played?

Anyway...just wanted to give Cubby a little encouragement to keep up the good work and thanks for all your hard work.

One small tweak, is that the MLB minimum is actually 327k, not 300k

Go to League Setup, then Misc. Setup and it should be on the right.

All you need to do is create a fictional pitcher and edit his vitals and ratings. I'm sure that'd be a lot easier than having Cubby re-edit HIS rosters, then have to re-post them everywhere.

In case there's an update at some point, John Rodriguez of the Cardinals should be L/L instead of R/R.

Good news! I'll be at home this weekend and able to get an updated set out there!

Keep an eye for it on Easter Sunday, a bit of an Easter present for those of you still playing OOTP 6.

Also, I'll be developing my set for OOTP 2006 for anyone interested in that.
