Logo for Phoenix Talons...

Hey fellas. I'm considering switching from my current logo to an updated look...

I've attached the current logo, and I'd like to keep the same basic colors (that rusty reddish brown colour mainly) but would like something that's not quite so blurry, but also something on the fierce side... Talons, rather than huggable pigeons

Again, the team is called the Phoenix Talons, it's for a league that's currently playing in it's 1991 season...

any help/suggestions/etc is appreciated! thanks...

just to clarify, it doesn't have to be the same colour as that one, i was just saying that the colour isn't an issue for me as much as the blurriness/design could use a polish.

I like the first one better because I'd like to keep the whole bird theme rather than switch it to something different.

I definitely like the crispness of it and the outside ring, i just have to decide if i like the bird/baseball combo that you came up with more than my current look.

I really appreciate you taking the time to give this a go man. Your logos are always top shelf.

I really like this logo for the Tulsa Talons AFL team (just found it online)... any way either (or both) of these could be altered to indicate Phoenix and perhaps with a switch in colour?

the colour of the bird in the first logo you posted would be a great primary colour... maybe with black as an accent colour to replace the red?

would you be able to do a version of the first image reds1 posted (the bigger logo without the words) with the colours you used? I'd like to see how the bigger one without the words looks by comparison. I'll definitely be switching, provided my commish approves.
