Actually this thread didn't come about lately at all. It's just been updated (it was originally started in 2 years ago for OOTP6).

Did MD just post in a thread of mine? Twice?

Nena did a new version of 99 Luftbalons but it was nowhere near as good as the original.

Goldfinger did a punk version on the Gran Turismo 3 video game which was pretty cool.

Are you talking about the English version of it? Yeah...that was nowhere near as good.

No it was a new version (in German) that the band recorded in 2003.

You are right, the English version of the original wasn't quite the same. I dont' think the meaning of the song was even the same!
