Just wondering, by why wait until the season is over. Then you have to worry about the 2007 season.

Does anyone remember approxamately when the sites started putting these up last season? I feel like they were out by now last year.

You may find that mod guys and such could be waiting till OOTP 2006 comes out.

yep, I've been hard at work on the set for a couple months now.

the posed set is just waiting for the updated pics to show up at MLB.com. I'm thinking that will happen any day now, and when it does I'll have them up within a day or so.

the action set is looking pretty sweet if I do say so myself. I'm not sure if that will be done by opening day, but it shouldn't be too long after that anyway.

Yeah, I don't think I said what I was trying to say. Does anyone remember about what time last year the MLB sites started putting out their profile pics? Just wondering because I like to collect them as they come. I just feel like they came out a lot sooner last year.

sure.
it was March 21st, although there were a few stragglers on the Rangers and Athletics that oddly didn't get updated until around the 30th.

so, they are late, but not that late. yet.

I'm wondering that too, or maybe the people responsible for getting the photos up have been involved in the redesign?

Good News and Bad News:

Looks like the photos are in the process of being uploaded to MLB now. Unfortunately, the picture quality of what I've seen so far is nasty.

Regardless, not everything is up yet. Once they are, I'll have a set up within a couple of hours

Great thanks alot. How do you do it so quickly ?? i Go on and copy and paste players just from the mets? i can only imagine how long it would take for everyone

Just checking some of them out, it looks like they've already botched one of them up. They have a different Dustan Mohr pic as Dustin Pedroia's pic. Hmmm, maybe another case of the Rangers/A's screw ups.

I actually wrote a program a couple of years ago to automate things. Once everything is up on the site, I basically just press a button and it downloads each picture on my list and names it to OOTP's naming conventions. Nice and easy.

and really besides making things easier, I kind of have to do it this way. there's a lot of "hidden" photos that are much easier to find using the system I set up.
