I rerated Fitz at middle a long time ago upping his stats after much research. I think he is on cornerwork somewhere and prob quite a few of you are using that version.

That's the one I used .... I'll have a list for you in a day or two Dean (if you don't mind rating some guys for me)

In my uni one that sticks out is Jimmy Walsh and 8 rated fighter has only managed a 10-10-5 record so far.

I was thinking that Tommy Tucker was doing poorly in my AU so I looked him up in Boxrec again. Funny things happen in boxing. Sometime in December 1940, sporting a record of 49-3-3 (never been stopped), Tucker met up with Bill Petersen who, according to Boxrec, had 4 wins in 6 fights. You figure, walkover. Nope. Petersen knocked Tucker out in the first round. Wonder what the odds of that happening were? I looked up Petersen and see that a few years later he's 19-5-1 going up against Joe Muscato who's 5-0-1. Bam! Muscato knocks him out in 2. Muscato supporters must have been delirious....

I went back to the original database and copied the stats there for Abe Simon. Then I put him in with Unknown Winston. Simon was KO'd in 2.

Although most of his career was spent losing, Winston did have a few well-known names in the win column early on in 1932 and 33: Walter Cobb, Billy Jones, Ernie Schaaf, Ted Sandwina, Tony Galento, Adolph Heuser and Marty Fox. So I guess the KO of Simon is not impossible, although Simon was only stopped twice in his prime, first by Buddy Baer in 3 then by Joe Louis in 13. He was outpointed by Lou Nova, Lem Franklin, Willie Reddish, Big Boy Bray, Eddie Blunt and Big Jim Thompson. I figure now Simon was likely on the same skills level with someone like Jameel McCline.

Hmmmm

Rocky Marciano (go figure) doesn't do well at all when he is set to anything other than prime. Right now he is 6-3-0 (6), before the formula was added he would dominate almost always go through his career without a loss.

Have you been putting him up against the same calibre fighters he met early in his real career? If he fights Ezzard Charles in his tenth fight, chances are he'll lose. Rocky fought a few journeyman coming up.
