OOTP5 update problems free version

OKay i got the OOTP5 Free version. When i saw it run I saw that it was running at version 5.13. So i dled the 5.14 patch. I updated and then i tried running it and it said this. This application has failed to start because elicen40.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem. It runs fine before i update it to 5.14. Trust me i need the update cuz the 5.14 patch fixes the bugs i found when i first installed the game. Plus on the screen it says version 5.13. Can anoyone help me? Thanks. I'm running windows xp Professional.

You installed the update in the wrong folder. Needs to be in THE SAME one as the game.

I am unzipping it in the right folder. I even double clicked it before i unzipped and it said the same thing without being in the right folder. Is the .exe bugged?

Update did not work on a free version of the game. Updates only for commercial version. You need Download new free version. It's been released couple days ago, and include 5.14b patch. Install that game at the same folder and all might work. http://www.ootpbaseball2006.com/down...5freesetup.exe
