I know that there are already at least two threads about this program, but I don't want any praise to get lost.
Wallman, you did a fantastic job on this utility! It took a while to compile on my 500mhz, 320mb machine, but it was well worth it. I look forward to any and all updates in the future! As a personal desire, is there anyway you could incorporate the Bill James HOF monitor or standars (I think) ratings on the player pages? Keep us the GREAT work! |

Hi Blainer, out of curiosity how long did it
take to compile using Wallman's utility? We are close in speed, my system 450 p3 384 ram Win 98se it took me 45 minutes to compile one season. Like you said it is well worth it. It's time to go computer shopping...

It took a long time . . . maybe 2-3 hours?
But, I had completed 18 seasons and this was the first time I had generated reports, so I imagine that this made it take a lot longer. Also, I had three player's that were missing in the html reports, so add a few hours to that before I figured out what was going on. Well worth the wait . . . |

True 18 seasons worth of stats definitely added to the time it took to compile. It would be nice to have some kind of status bar in the program, that tells how much is completed. Time to get a faster machine!
