In this case I have to say I doubt it if only for one reason. They are both currently logged in. It is possible to log in under two handles at the same time, but most people don't know how to do it. I doubt seriously that young Mr. Fitterer would have figured it out.

You don't even know him or his reputation and yet you just happened to be talking to him over AIM? At which time he just happened to say "Hey there's this game called OOTP and they have a website with a forum. I've got a league and would like you to be in it. Why don't you go over to the forum and see what it's all about. While you're there, you could look at all the false accusations being thrown at me. I didn't do any of it but why don't you take the time to read it anyway?

Then couple all of that with the fact that mfitterer disappeared from the board when you began posting...I'm sorry, I just don't believe you...or your alter-ego.

OK, I can see how this is addicting! I'm done...I'm going back to practice on my job.

Okay BigWill er I mean BigSmith. You might have a long wait on the waiting list, might I suggest a team or three in the MFDCWBL while you wait?

Through reading all these threads, I just remember back when fitterer's alleged cheating first surfaced, a couple guys were concerned about the integrity of the board being compromised. So whenever fitterer posted about his league, they would post disclaimers about his past and warned potential GMs about what they MAY be getting into. Although I didn't entirely agree with all this, it had some justification.

But where this charade has ended up is just unwarranted. Like I said, you guys were so worried about the integrity of the board in the beginning but now it is you who threatens its integrity with all of these nonsensical threads.

When someone comes to this board and is trying to search for an online league and they open up a league like this, they may wonder how worthwhile this forum really is. Just like when you guys said earlier that if their first impression was of fitterer's league, they would be scared away from the board.

All I'm saying is you can't say what fitterer was doing was bad for the board and then continue to post a thousand threads about it which is just as detrimental to the board.

If you must continue the nudging, move it to the off topic forum. It's only fair. Of course, you can't pad your post counts there so. . .

That's below the belt IMO. 64210 has become a valued member of the community... I don't often agree with him, but I do respect his views. There's no need for a personal attack on someone who hasn't done anything wrong, even if he was a little.... oversensitive when he first joined the boards.

You're right. I shouldn't have used his real name. And though I don't often agree with him, it was a bit much.

I'm cranky when I get up in the morning.

And he does have a point, even I grow tired of the whole thing. I do wish for some sort of resolution to the Fit situation... but I suppose that's just wishful thinking.

I claim all the remaining teams, and if there is none I'll just beat up Brian and take his.
