eLicense Control Panel Won't Open

I have 6.12 and 6.51 installed and working fine. But I recently noticed that my eLicense control panel applet won't open. I can double-click it, or right-click and select Open, and it just never does. It doesn't hang the PC or anything, it's like I never did anything at all.

For now, I don't need to get in there, but I've used it before when I had to unlicense, in order to move to a new PC, etc.

Any suggestions? If Steve K is around, PM me, because I have some extenuating circumstances that I'm not going to post here.

If you right click on the executable files you will see E license choices.

I'm having the same problem. I want to remove the license for "Total Pro Football", but when I go to the eLicense Control option within Settings/Control Panel, it doesn't do anything when I left-click on Total Pro Football.

When I right-click on it, I get options for Product Details, Product Receipt, License Details, and Sort by Name. But none of these do anything but display info.

Where are the executable file(s) that are talking about?

Thanks!

I can't say about the football game but if you right click on the file ootp65.exe in the OOTP65 folder you will see a menu that includes the "unlicence" choice.

Thanks for that tip, RchW! I've been having problems with this as well.

I finally figured out that I could unlicense "Total Pro Football" by right-clicking on eLicense Control under Settings/Control Panel. By left-clicking on Open in the popup, I got a window that listed the eLicensed games that I have. By right-clicking on "TPF", I finally got an option to unlicense it.

However, even after I did unlicense "TPF", I still can't get rid of it (or the ".400 Software Studios" folder) under eLicense Control.

I have the same problem as battists. I just put in a new mobo/processor etc and reinstalled windows and everything and now I have this same problems. If i right or left click the eliscece it's either open/browse/explore. It's not really affecting me right now but I know it will

I have both 6 and 6.5 licensed but when I go to the .exe there is no option for unliscensing either.

This is just annoying more than anything.

Add me to the list. I just got an nforce4 motherboard. I've also been having crashes on file imports and odd characters show up.
