Some Questions

First time poster here, so cut me some slack....


1. I know how every league will have a "home" country, where the teams primarily draw their players from. But one question: Let's say I'm doing a present day MLB setup, would I be able to have the Toronto Blue Jays in the USA-Based Major League Baseball?

2. Stadiums. Will they be edited and changed and such like in previous versions?

3. Countries and the name files. What countries will be included? Will places like the Netherland Antilles and Aruba be seperate from the Netherlands proper, when, in real life, they are still technically the Netherlands (so much so that Arubans and Curacaoians play for the Netherlands national team in the WBC)? And in cases like Israel or China, which contain many ethnic groups, will there be different name files for each so that we don't get things like Mohammed Finklestein or another very, very unlikely name combo?

4. Finally, will we able to adjust fan devotion and player salaries for league (A league in some obscure country like, say, Bhutan, would have an average attendance of like 10 and have yearly salaries topping out at $40 dollars)?

Some new questions :-)

1. Toronto will be part of MLB of course, I can't imagine it any other way.

2. Not sure how stadiums will work.

3. No clue, But I think it is posted on the board somewhere.

4. You can definitely set salaries according to Markus. Not sure about fan devotion, has never been mentioned yet.

Yes

Yes

I don't believe the full list has been announced ... and there has been some discussion on that. We seem to be under the impression that name files will be okay, but if they're not, there are community members who are, even now, working on making them right.

League financials are totallly customizable, so your 10/$40 is doable, but I don't remember discussion about fan devotion. There was Fan Interest (and it could be preset, but the game would change it based on the teams' performance) in earlier versions, though, so I imagine something like that will translate to the new game.
