Group 2?

Cool! I know alot of us have talked about wanting sub groups for our Uni's. This is a positive move in the right direction at being able to have "regional" titles.

One suggestion though. It would be great if there was a blank space choice in the pull down for the "group 2" section. I assigned a fighter to a "regional" group as the group 2 then changed it later back to the "main" group. The only way I could do it was to assign him to the "main" group in both sections. Now the "group" on the fighter page for him reads, "G.B.A.;G.B.A.

Also, love the new "groups" section on the "Stats" page. Way cool!

the blank space was already suggested in the beta forum and according to Andreas already fixed for the next patch

OK. Now some good samaritan should (kindly) explain the Group2 option. If I want to segregate fighters by nation/region in order to have Commonwealth, European, Australasian, North American titles, can this now be done using the Group2 box?

My first guess is that all fighters would have to first be grouped somehow by geo-political region. Then you would have to put something in the group2 box for each individual fighter. (This is where you should be able to select fighters in the Fighters List and alter them all at once.)

Well I have all my guys seperated into main, club and beginner groups. Now when I go for group 2. I know I'll have a NABF (north american) and a commonwealth ... these guys I won't worry about seperate rankings for main and club fighters they can all be the same.

Unforutunately you can only change group 1 all at once. It's a damn good suggestion though.

But "Groups" is not Organizations. There are no titles for Groups, or belts. Only Organizations have belts and titles. You can look at Groups in Statistics, but you still won't have separate rankings for the NABF, EBU or Commonwealth. I know some people have trouble with the idea that a fighter from Japan can't fight for the Commonwealth title, unless of course he takes up residence in a Commonwealth nation and is recognized by that comission.

I'm pretty sure Andreas said a long time ago that this won't happen until the RP version rolls out.
