Do players react negatively when put on the trading block?

They do get upset and send you nasty emails at times, but I don't think it affects their performance (don't quote me on that). I do think, however, that if they are not traded and then contract negotiations come up, and you decide you want them, they might be upset with you.

From my experience, putting a player on the trading block actually improves their play on the field.

Of course, I have only put a player on the block 4 or 5 times, but each time, the player began playing much better than they had been.

Nasty e-mails? Aww man! None of my trading block players have ever sent me one of those... I'm missing out!

But yeah, in my experiences, I've not really noticed any significant change in the players performance once put on the block.
