OOTP3 Freezing when simming!!!!!

Hey,
I bought OOTP3 not long before OOTP4 came out. It kinda sucks that I didn't know that OOTP4 was going to come out so I got a crappier version when I could have just waited for the better version. Anyway, everything was running fine until I tried to sim today. We have interleague play on, so this was the first day of interleague play. It's on 5/24/2002 and whenever I try to sim the Tigers vs. Rockies game, the program freezes. I've also tried to just play the game but it freezes right away too. Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it????? I don't want to keep the managers waiting because the program is screwed up, so please help!!!!

Go into league setup and set all teams to computer controlled then try to sim the games, that should work then you can return the ownership to what it was before.

Thanks for the fast reply, and I just tried it, but it is doing the same thing. If I try to simulate day it freezes in the standings with the press space bar to interrupt box, and if I just try to sim the game it freezes on the schedule screen. Anything else that might help???

Go and check the lineups of each team, this is what it sounds like either:

-there is an empty lineup spot
-a player in the lineup w/ no position beside his name
-a currently injured pitcher in the starting slot

Wow, I just went through like every team to check for injured pitchers and lineups when I should have just been smart and checked Detroit and Colorado first. Thanks a ton, there was a guy in Detroit's lineup who didn't have a position next to his name, when he just needed to be in LF. I don't know how that happened, but I'm just glad it's solved. Thanks again, this is a huge relief.
