One game I was playing crashed in the middle when I tried to view some scouting report info.

I was thinking of reinstalling the game. Do I just unlicense the game, uninstall, reinstall and relicense? Will the game let me relicense. Can I just save my league file in a safe directory?

You don't need to unlicense, just uninstall and reinstall BUT that may not solve your problem with that one game. It maybe lost and need to be deleted and rescheduled.

Then that league may be corrupted.
