Golden Age of Baseball (GABL) seeks 3 for 1982 season

GABL has 3 openings as we move into our 6th season. The San Diego Padres(rebuild), Milwaukee Brewers (mediocrity in a brutal division) and Detroit Tigers(one of our most successful franchises) are all open as we head into 1982. We use OOTP5 which you now can own for free through the ootp web site and you must own the game to join. We are a historic league that sims on a 7/8/7 schedule 3 times/week. You can view the league at www.goldenageofbaseball.com. Please be sure to read the league constitution to see what sets us apart from other sim leagues. Our 1981 playoffs will be complete after this week and you will be able to get in on the 1982 ammy draft which contains such notables as Jose Canseco, Alvin DAvis, Cecil Fielder, Kirby Puckett, Mike Greenwell, Shawon Dunston, Bret Saberhagen, Dwight Gooden, David Wells and you'll also be ready to partake in offseason free agency. Padres are now full, but Cardinals have opened up as well, leaving Cardinals, Brewers and Tigers all open. If you have an interest I need to know by the end of this upcoming weekend. mandersen@gotucson.com or AIM-AndersenMat
