Schedule editor problem

I am making my own schedule because the schedule generator in the game doesn't do a very good job. What makes matters worse is the schedule editor seems to have a glitch in it. When I want to change a schedule, here's what happens: When I delete the game I want to change, the schedule for that day drops off the screen partially (several games are no longer visible). To solve this problem, I delete all the games for that day and then reenter the games with the changes I want. This is 10 times the work that should be necessary. I hope someone has a solution for this problem

I did a "schedule editor" search and did not see anyone with this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are outside schedule generators available to solve the schedule problems of OOTPB, however I don't know computers well enough to use them. At least, not at this time.

Please let me know what is causing the glitch in the schedule editor. Thanks.

How many teams are in your league? Something is causing the display to shift.. I'm not entirely sure what.. but I suspect it has to do with the number of teams or games for that day.

I have one league with two divisions of ten teams each.
In the past this hasn't been a big problem because I did not do extensive changes. But it is now. At this rate, I'll spend 3 days to edit the schedule and I will eventually will have 4 separates leagues. I haven't been able to see any pattern as to when it does this. Has this happened to anyone else?

This is a great game. I hope OOTP5 will have a better schedule generator which will create balanced schedules.

I can confirm this has happened to me also. It occurred a few teams with a 16 team schedule I was creating in OOTP3 and it would only occur if I deleted a game from the first column. It would cause all other games to shift to column one but some would be below the screen line and unreadable since there is no scroll button.

Now that I think of it.. It may have happened to me as well.. I was just trying to find the situation that triggers it.

TigerFan described it perfectly. It happens when you delete the last game in column one.

Thanks for confirming it happens to others and not just me.

I hope Marcus can check this out and solve it for OOTP5.

It seems to happen when you delete the sixth game on the schedule, the last game in the left column.

You also got an email with the liscence information. Check for that... otherwise you'll have to contact Via Tech and be prepared to prove your purchase, if you can do so they'll get you the liscence number.
