FIBB has an opening

Caracas Roughnecks

FIBB.net / FIBB Forums

The 'Necks have been treading water for a few seasons now as they can't seem to get active, involved management. They are not a horrible team, but not a good team right now either and need someone to come in and enact some kind of plan!

The FIBB is a 30-team league with fictional teams, but started with MLB players. Many of those original MLBers are now old and retired as we are currently in the 2016 season. We have some nice extra BOSI-based features on our homepage as well as some outside of OOTP features like the Local Heroes, RFA, new Winter Ball League, etc. Nothing against any of the great leagues out there, but I've never been a part of a league that is as active as the FIBB. This is generally a great thing, but can also bring some increased scrutiny to trades and owner decisions. The bottom line is that the forums are always hopping (even if we're talking about WoW or Urban Dead and not baseball ) and there are always guys to talk trade with.

The FIBB does have heightened participation requirements. We use a Participation Point System and require every owner to write enough to accumulate 20 PPTs for each season as well as requiring exports and league votes. There are lots of very nice Rewards to buy with your hard-earned PPTs. We sim M / W / F in the evenings. The FIBB, MBBA, tMBU and ORB share a lot of the same ideals, features and owners so if you've experienced any of those leagues you have a feel for things already.

If interested PM me directly here or just come over to the FIBB Forums and register and fill out the Q&A in the New Applicants section. Thanks!

Join this great league and bring the following:

1) a sense of humour about everything, including your own team.

2) the ability/desire to write about your club.

3) a soft pillow to sit on for days when Bogota kicks your ass.

It is a little-known fact that the FIBB was founded in 1785 by Benjamin Franklin in between flying kites and writing pithy almanacs. Sure, it was based on the game of "town ball", and carrier pigeons delivered the results to ol' Tom "Oak" Jefferson and John Adams, but the fellowship was what truly mattered.

And those ideals have stayed with the FIBB to this very day. Join us.

This league is super active, and features such great owners as:

> a Left-handed Color-blind Giant
> a Muslim who hates everyone
> a token Jew
> a bunch of Canadians
> Not one but TWO owners with the surname "Girard" who get hosed in trades
> a
> and a guy with a really bad bowl cut.

To say nothing of the inherent coolness of the league itself.

not to mention you can find out the answer to the question: How many New World North GMs does it take to screw in a lightbulb?

We'll have to do it with a maximum of four, because A.J. is too short to be of any use.

I don't hate everyone but I do promise to give the a Caracas owner a fair chance to earn my scorn, especially if he's Canadian, from the south, or is a personal friend of the commish.
