When you play OOTP on a laptop around a bunch of people who look at your screen but who have no idea what a sport sim is, things can get weird with lots and lots of questions being asked. I find that telling people that I'm doing online gambling tends to shut them up.

Yeah, I have that when I fly.

I tell them that I am a scout of the Red Sox. Somehow that makes them shut up as well.

Almost There!

That's pretty cool, but I'd keep working on it. Last year's Mogul simmed the whole season, including the off-season, in under 30 seconds on my machine. And I don't have the hardware you've got. Thats the reason I still play Mogul a lot more even though ootp has the rule 5 draft.

Please keep in mind that it is important to view minor leagues in OOTP BM 2006 almost the same as a league in OOTP 6, because they have awards, an allstar game, playoffs, reports, news, boxscores etc.
Ok so are you saying that if we really wanted, every game in every league can have reports/boxscores/player bios and what not?

If so are these going to be a sepreate file like they are in OOTP6 only well.....a LOT mroe of them?

If so, I'm not seeing how your'e getting the numbers so damn quick.

If it's in like one file that is easy to extract the stats from in a very easy to do manner, I jsut have one word to describe this:

JOYGASM!!!!!!

I'd be willing to bet the speed results have actually taken a giant step backwards.

If I put a laptop simming OOTP 2006 into a microwave, will I go back in time?

Nope. I'm glad to see such a big improvement. It's a real turn-off in OOTP6.

I just ran the numbers through the formulas and actually what will happen is that a worm hole will open and Bud Selig will come and contract your league to just the Red Sox, Yankees, and the Brewers.

And also you should expect to get a very nasty rash. Use ointment for three to six days and if that doesn't help itch like mad. That should do the trick.

Can people who are having issues with speed at least try to reach these advertised numbers in the exact settings of these leagues, and see if they match up?

I mean, I believe these numbers, so maybe it'll help people identify what about their leagues are causing slow downs if they can run these at advertised speeds.

That should lead to more efficient fixing of people's various slow downs.
