I hadn't noticed any posts, but the Giants sent Edgardo Alfonso to LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA for Steve Finley.

I know... its a blockbuster.

Hey, it's better than Olbermueller for Kolb a week ago. Both have since been cut from their new teams.

His first name is WES and both were on the Miluakee so they couldn't get tradeed for each other!

Because the Angels allready have Dallas M. at 3B and C. Figgins at 2B thyey will trade him to the Cardinals who need a 2B and that's the postion Edgar really wants to play for maybe for Marquis and other prospects!

I don't know if just Marquis is enough for the Angels to get Alfonso! The Angels could use a young power hitter! Maybe if the Cards sent Pujols too it would get done! Imagine that! The Angels with Pujols and Vlad! Who would be the best!!!

I figured they wanted Alfonso as insurance because of Dallas's injury. Also some rumors have Erstad moving back to CF and now with Finley gone, it's even more of a possibility. The upside is that Kotchman would get a good chance to play 1B.

I've also heard Erstad's name mentioned in trade rumors. Every time I see that, my hopes go up again.
