Anyone ever have this problem??

I have a couple of teams in my league that are exporting their teams through FTP. Now when I import all teams, some of them still do not import (you get the old or invalid file message) but when I tell them that their teams didn't import, they tell me that they did export in plenty of time. This is happening to owners who I trust so they wouldn't just be lying about it so I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen in their league?

I have sims on Sunday, Tuesdays and Fridays at 8 and update the file at 10 PM on Saturday, Monday and Thursday nights.

Would it happen to matter when they export??

yes it has happened to me. I (now) import each team from ftp one at a time or use my ftp software outside the game to move the export files into my folder in the league folder then import all.

I saw this happen in my league. I started paying more attention to things and have not had it happen in a while. Right after I import via FTP I go to the site and delete all the TeamXX.exp files. This makes sure that next go 'round I do not get the "old/invalid" error because I am trying to import one from a sim ago. Also remember that any player changes (signings, releases, trades) will cause this (error) to happen if the player change was done after you uploaded the league file and before you imported the roster. Contract extensions do not seem to affect importing.

When I originally posted the problem in the troubleshooting area I was worried that it was caused by some of the teams having the latest patch and me not having that yet. I was assured that was not the case.
